FUNSHINE GIRLS ROOM

 FURNISHING, PROCUREMENT & INSTALL, AND SURPRISE REVEAL!

For her 8th birthday, our client's daughter sweetly asked for a design for her bedroom from Wise Design. We were so excited (and honored!) to fulfill her wish. After she and her parents decided what pieces in her room she would like to keep, we got started.  

 

Her bedroom was generously sized and had lots of ample floor space. We wanted our young client to be delighted with her room, however we also wanted her to be able to grow in the space and love it just as much when she's a teenager. One large wall in her room was perfect for a fun, beachy custom mural by Anthony DeMarco. The colors in the mural set the palette for the rest of the space:  a light aqua for the walls, peachy pink bedding, a rich blue-green for her vanity, and light neutrals to make all the colors *pop!*

We presented the schematic design to our client but we kept a few birthday secrets to ourselves. On the day of the reveal, we were rewarded with a little gasp of surprise:  a hanging chair that everyone loves, a gallery wall full of her favorite things plus a very princess-like canopy complete with fairy lights all awaited her for her first night in her new room. (P.S. now we hear her little brother may have a birthday wish for his room too!)
