FAMILY ROOM FURNISHINGS

As an active family of four, our clients needed a family room that would serve as the main hub of their home, a place to lounge, play and just be all together. Our task was to come up with a furnishing layout in a tricky space: long asymmetrical built-in bookcases in an L-shaped room with a fireplace, TV and windows all on competing walls added complications. A custom sectional from Perch Furniture was the first item to be designed for their space, providing a comfy area for movie watching, game playing and plenty of seating for both the family and their guests. A durable ottoman for resting feet, board games or snacks was layered on top of a beautiful rug from Loloi. Add in a comfy chair by the fire, natural and textural elements like the art, rattan blinds from Everhem, as well as plants and ceramics, create a beautiful and classic palette to last our clients for many happy years together.
