If you've been following along, we recently revealed the living room, kitchen & dining room areas of the Hawthorne Modern project. Those areas of the home are very open concept, so we really wanted to keep everything cohesive. When we designed the upstairs loft area, we wanted to continue the look & feel but give it it's own flair.
Our client wanted this space to be super comfy & cozy. They wanted the perfect place to curl up and watch a movie, show or play some video games. So we designed a custom low & cushy sectional sofa in a beautiful dark green velvet made by Trio Furniture. So lovely!
We paired the sofa with a buttery caramel leather ottoman from The Citizenry, and a subtly beautiful Moroccan Rug from Lulu & Georgia. So low key gorgeous!
For media storage we wanted to keep it visually minimal & light like the built-in storage in the living room. We selected this lovely white oak floating cabinetry from Blu Dot. This is paired with (of course, our favorite) the Samsung Frame TV. So sleek!
For the lighting, we wanted to keep it super minimal & streamlined. We selected this beautifully modern sconce from Human Home. For the stairway, we selected this GORGEOUS Bocci Chandelier. Wow! They are both so perfect for this space, don't you think?!!
We love how clean & minimal yet SO comfy & cozy this loft turned out! Another beautifully inviting space in the Hawthorne Modern!
